Hole Overview
The 9th hole provides a strong finishing test to the front nine. From the tee, players are greeted with a wide, uphill fairway that gently doglegs to the right, encouraging confident but well-placed drives.

A small water hazard must be carried off the tee before the fairway opens up, rewarding those who find the short grass with a clear path to the green. Approach shots play into a green that slopes from back to front, demanding control of distance and spin.

A large gum tree guards the left-hand side of the green, ready to punish any significant miss in that direction.

Playing Tips
A well-struck drive up the left-hand side, targeting the large gum left of the green, sets up the ideal angle into the hole.

The approach typically requires an extra club due to the uphill nature of the shot and the common presence of into-the-wind conditions. Commitment is key, shots that carry the pin distance tend to hold the green, while anything short will struggle to release forward.

The green runs strongly from back to front, so under-hit approaches will be repelled off the front edge. Prioritise carrying the ball to the correct depth rather than relying on it feeding up.
