Hole Overview
The fourteenth hole is a tantalising short par 4 that presents a range of strategic options. Long hitters can take on the green from the tee, chasing a one-shot opportunity, but any miss brings trouble into play.
Or, you can lay up, setting up a controlled wedge into the green. From there, precision is key, the green complex slopes towards the back-right, meaning any misjudged approach can quickly run away from the hole.
A true risk-and-reward hole that rewards clear decision-making and disciplined execution.
Playing Tips
Commit to an aggressive line and aim for the centre of the green. A well-struck shot will carry the long grassy mounds and can release onto the surface.
If you do miss, long right is the safest option, leaving a straightforward chip back up the length of the green. While the green is wide, it is quite shallow—any approach without sufficient spin or control can run through the back, so precise yardage is essential. Favour a line slightly left of the pin to allow for this.
On the greens, expect significant movement. Prioritise pace and play your putts on the high side, allowing them to feed naturally down towards the hole.
