Hole Overview
The fifth hole is a picturesque par three that showcases the natural beauty of Plenty Gorge. Playing from an elevated tee, golfers are treated to sweeping views as they hit towards a green framed by native gum trees.

The challenge lies on the left-hand side, where two bunkers and a deep valley await any errant shots, ready to punish inaccuracy. A visually striking hole that combines scenic appeal with a demanding test of precision.

Playing Tips
This long par three demands commitment and smart target selection. Avoid the left side at all costs, bunkers, towering gums, and a deep valley combine to make recovery extremely difficult.

The safest line is at the right edge of the green or even the hill just beyond, with short right offering a reliable bailout. If you’re striking it well, you can take on the centre, but the key is trajectory. The ball needs to come in high and land soft to avoid releasing over the back into thick rough.

On the green, trust your read. It can appear to have more break than it does, but in most cases, putts play straighter than they look.
