Hole Overview
The eighteenth is a stunning yet demanding finish to your round, offering sweeping views across multiple holes with the clubhouse awaiting beyond the green.
From the tee, a strategically placed water hazard at approximately 240 metres challenges even the best drives, requiring both distance and accuracy to carry safely. Beyond this, the fairway climbs steeply toward the green, adding to the difficulty of the approach.
The green is well protected by bunkers on both sides and slopes from back to front, leaving fast, testing putts for anything finishing above the hole. A memorable finishing hole that rewards one last well-executed drive and a composed finish.
Playing Tips
Big hitters can take on the water, but only with a well-struck drive and favourable (or no) wind. A carry of at least 240 metres is required to clear the hazard cleanly, leaving a short iron into the green.
The safer play is to favour the right side with an iron or fairway wood, laying up short of the 150m marker to set up a full, controlled approach.
The uphill nature of the shot, combined with typical headwind conditions, means an extra club is usually required. Be mindful of the clubhouse effect, shots can feel sheltered early but will often catch the wind once they rise above it and drop shorter than expected.
The green itself is relatively straightforward, with less movement than it appears. Trust your read, as putts tend to break less than anticipated.
