Hole Overview
The twelfth hole is a challenging uphill par three that demands both commitment and precision. From the tee, players are faced with a demanding shot, either threading the ball through towering gum trees or, from the alternate tee, carrying a water hazard to reach the green.
The significant elevation change means club selection is critical, with any under-hit shots likely to roll back down the slope. The green complex adds further intrigue, featuring a pronounced ridge through the centre that places a premium on accurate tee shots and thoughtful positioning.
Well protected by mounds at the back and a bunker to the right, this is a visually striking par three that rewards confident execution and sharp green reading.
Playing Tips
This deceptive uphill par three demands precise distance control. The green is longer than it appears and features a tier through the middle, making club selection critical.
Take enough club to comfortably cover the slope, any shot left short will roll back down the hill, leaving a difficult 40–50 metre recovery. Prioritise finding the putting surface, with pin-high left the safest miss.
Once on the green, stay cautious on downhill putts. They can become quick and slippery, particularly on warmer days, placing a premium on touch and pace control.
